Together, we can protect them.
Become an Ambassador
We look forward to discussing the different opportunities and ways in which we can partner together. We have outlined various touchpoints below but strive to make each partnership a unique and personal experience, playing on all of our greatest strengths. We welcome any discussion or suggestion on how to bring this to life and raise awareness for this shared cause. We have created three different tiers of Ambassadors: Awareness, Creative, and Influence. Let’s see where you fit in.
-
Awareness Ambassadors are leaders in the entertainment industry, representing the fields of film, television, music, sports, and beyond. They demonstrate leadership in their professions and serve as positive role models through their work. Awareness Ambassadors use their talent and fame to fundraise, advocate, and educate the public on behalf of the American Wild Horse Campaign.
-
Creative Ambassadors represent the fields of photography, art and design, fashion, video, and more. They are passionate individuals who have imaginative, innovative, and expressive personalities and showcase these traits through their work as makers. Creative Ambassadors use their artistic talents to elevate the issue of wild horse protection on behalf of the American Wild Horse Campaign.
-
Influence Ambassadors have built a reputation for their knowledge and expertise on a specific topic on social media. These areas can include anything from travel to lifestyle, equestrians to animal rescue, fitness to comedy. They are driven individuals who have generated mega and macro followings and trust with their followers. Influence Ambassadors use their strong online presence to educate theirs trusted supporters about the plight of wild horses and burros on behalf of the American Wild Horse Campaign.
The Opportunities
Social Media
Use your social presence to raise awareness for important issues surrounding wild horses and burros. The AWHC team will work in tandem with you, providing you with the most current information on the issues as well as social content and suggested messaging to share with your base.
Upon onboarding as an AWHC Ambassador, you will be added to a bi-weekly Google calendar event with a link that will have updated with graphics/images* and suggested copy for posting on your social media channels.
You will be sent an AWHC Ambassador t-shirt (and additional swag) for a joint announcement that you are joining the team (at left).
You will help AWHC push legislative issues as they arise, raise awareness on recent developments, provide Calls to Action, and share the beauty of wild horses through imagery.
While posting bi-weekly is preferred, AWHC would love for you to post at least (1) social media post per month. If Instagram, post can be in story or in-feed.
Post will include the handle and hashtag: @freewildhorses, #keepwildhorseswild
*AWHC designers can tailor graphics to your brand/marketing aesthetic if preferred or needed.
Media
AWHC produces the largest volume of media coverage in the wild horse protection space and see it as a tool to reach the masses. Using the power of your status can surely elevate this issue.

Join the AWHC event Host Committee and enlist friends, colleagues, and/or companies to donate, attend or sponsor the event.
Host an in-person fundraising event for AWHC.
Create an online fundraiser for AWHC through Facebook or Instagram and encourage your supporters to help you meet the goal to support wild horse protection.
Donate a portion of proceeds to AWHC from your company sales, items, or creative endeavors.
PSAs and Experiences
Working with AWHC’s digital team, Ambassadors can lend their voice to hard-hitting PSAs calling for a reform of the federal government’s wild horse and burros program and urging the American public to get involved in the fight.
Attend a wild horse roundup to educate your supporters on what is happening to our herds.
Join the AWHC team on public lands and visit with a wild horse or burro herd living wild and free.
